As the company wants to reinforce its sales team, it is now looking for a new Senior Business Developer. Position overview The Senior Business Developer develops new business plans, prospects new potential clients in Belgium (and the Netherlands), establishes C-level relationships with existing accounts, coaches the bid team working on the opportunities by providing all the relevant client information and organizes all actions required to produce a compelling client-centric solution. He/she generates new revenue and grows the company’s image and market share. Responsibilities
- Develop a sales strategy
- Plan and execute the sales actions, meet the sales objectives
- Prospect new clients and manage the relationship with existing clients; develop contacts at the
most senior management level
- Develop sales leads by recognizing the client’s business needs and exploring how company’s
solutions and services can meet those needs
- Lead contract negotiations; discuss the functional, technical and commercial terms of the deal
with client representatives in order to reach a final signature
- Monitor the delivery and manage the client relationship during the implementation period;
facilitate the resolution of escalated clients issues; monitor the client satisfaction
Ideal candidate profile
- A strong educational background: university degree or equivalent through experience
- A network in the =nsurance market and =nsurance industry knowledge is a clear plus
- Strong business development skills: ability to prospect; know how to detect new opportunities
- Strong account management skills: good listening and communication skills and capability to
build and maintain long lasting relationships with senior management
- Able to develop a creative, compelling offer covering the clients’ needs and presenting this
solution to the client
- A direct, transparent, no-nonsense style, communicative, open, honest, down to earth
- Structured, organized and hard-working
- Flexible and a team player who is modest and easy going with clients and colleagues
- Focused on delivering quality work, pragmatic, solution and action oriented
- Excellent in French and English
